Yes a Powerglide is listed in the 1960 Chevrolet Truck Data Book as being RPO-17 with the standard 235 engine (3.36 rear axle), as I posted and as described above by others.

I could not find documentation about solid lifters with that truck Powerglide . . but, the Corvette 235 with Powerglide also has the more robust (at high revs, I guess) mechanical lifters.
