First off hi everyone this is my first post. Ok now my question is I have a 51 chevy 3100 need to know if a rearend off a 1979 chevy 4x4 six lug with a measurement of 54 inch from backing plate to backing plate. Will this work on my 51. Need to know my inlaw is scraping the truck so I'm pulling off what ever parts I can use. Let me know thanks
