I am new to the site and to the classic trucks. I just picked up a 1953 GMC 9100 truck in driving condition. She is defiantly showing her years but is solid.

It had a funny ticking sound I managed to trace down to the generator. Ended up being that someone didn't put a nut back on to hold the pulley. I took the hold thing apart, cleaned it up, chased the threads, bead blasted it and painted it.

Now I go back to install it and be damned if I remember where the condenser was hooked up too. Has any one dealt with this or know where I hook it up too, field or armature?
