Ok, its been over 20 years ago, and IIRC,the babbit was on the engine side both mains and rods. All the inserts were in the caps, both main and rods. I dont even know if it was the original engine or not, this old truck had been around. I could have it all backwards and it was the caps that were all poured, but it sure did look like somebody put a crank kit in it and put all insert caps on, doing a "quick" in truck bottom end rebuild.
