I have an '84 Pontiac rear with 3.07's and a T-5 behind a full pressure 216. For me this combination has worked well. I do have a set of 3.33 gears that will fit this differential if needed but here in the flat lands it hasn't been a problem. I do like the 60 MPH cruise at less than 3,000 RPM's too.
