| | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 15 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 15 | I have run into a similar situation with my "new" BigBolt. It was sold to me as a 1948 1 1/2 ton. When I ran the chassis number through Vin buster it came up as a 2 Ton built in August 1947. It was registered as a 1948 and the State of Maine Registration used the engine number as the VIN. Could this been a left over 47 sold as a 48?. I think when I register it here, I will try to register it as a 1947 with the actual Chassis number as the VIN. Any comments? | | |
