So far, I am pleased with the radiator. It's a 4 core (I think I paid 230 for it) aluminum. I painted it satin black. New rebuilt 55 235 engine, with modified short low water pump. 216 16 inch fan blade barely sufficient, can cool the engine for 25 minutes at least at idle. The lower water pump and wimpy blade really are the culprit here. I have a 49 short box single wheel grain truck 3600 series. Stupid money pit project that hasn't been on the road in 30 years.
