I used Heidts on my '39. It seemed to go in just fine. The only trouble I had was the crossmember was a little narrow for my frame. BUT that is probably going to happen with all or most of them due to inconsistencies in frames from the Chevy factory!
Things I wish I would have done differently:
Lighter spring rate - my fault due to ignorance about engine
weight.
2" dropped spindles - again because it was my first truck and I didn't know much about these things. Take some time to determine what you need for sure.
I'd bet most of the companies would be comparable in quality though.
