The Track is different, 41-50 ½ TON uses a 3658388 Track and the 41-50 HR (CAB w/PICK-UP, PANEL) used the 3658432 Track.
The 3697278 cross strap is the same 1951 to 1953 COMM but is replaced in later parts books by 3703308, which list the 3703308 strap as the same 1951 to 1957 COMM (exc. SUB.PICK-UP) cross (44 5/8 O.L. ). The SUB.PICK-UP was the 1956-57 model 3124 (Suburban Carrier/Cameo)
In the earlier parts book for the 54 COMM there was a 3704266 diagonal cross strap (14 holes 5/16) but it looks like it was also replaced by the standard cross strap 3703308. I see no listing for straps or tracks which are the main carrier parts for the SUB.CARRY-ALL in either the 1929-54 or the 1929-57 parts books. Is it possible that the spare was carried inside the truck?
