I been thinking about the rear barn door latch mechanism anti-droop spring here lately.I discovered that the 1939-1946 truck right hand side Door Handle Spring"anti-droop" fits like the original spring.I installed one on an extra latch mechanism I have,works great.

I bought two from Jim Carter today part #DP-146R .Do not go by the pictures on his web site at this present time, being they are marked wrong.His left picture is actually the right side,which is what you want #DP146R.They are supposed to edit the website error soon.I took some pictures of the spring installed.

This will work on the panel truck and suburban rear barn door latch mechanism.
