Yes, you can replace the rear axle studs without removing the shaft. Probly got a few that have bad knurls on them. Try the flaps first, take an old one with you so they can measure it to get a baseline to go from for the oversize. The Napa #s are ; front-641-1013, rear-641-1005. To intstall them, use a nut (plain nut is better) and a stack of 3 or so washers. Put the stud in the hub/axle, then place the washers over the stud, perhaps with a light coat of grease or antiseize on the threads and between the washers. Then thread the nut on and carefully (NO Impact!!!) tighten the nut until the stud seats. The studs will go right in.
