For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 | Anyone know a website that shows dimentions of bias ply tires and radial tires? Could help make tire choice easier.
I run LT 215/85 R16 on my '54 3100. Tallest/narrowest radials that I could find locally. They stand 29-1/2" tall. I keep them pumped up pretty full to give a tall/narrow look. My truck was built at the factory with 6.50/16 (RPO 282M "6.50x16 – 6 ply tires + Hvy Rear Spring"). Standard size was 6.00-16
