For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 18 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 18 | I finally got the electric fuel pump hooked up on my 40 Chevy pickup. I am running a 8 volt battery in the truck and before I turn the pump on for the first time, I need to know if the 8 volt setup will work or cause damage to the 6 volt pump? The 8 volt battery spins the starter quicker and greatly improves the lights but will it be too much for the 6 volt pump?
thanks, Ken | | | |
