As you see, I haven't responded to any of the posts, not because I am avoiding you or anyone else...I have logged over 3,500 miles in the past few weeks delivering and picking up parts & trucks, so I have overlooked replying to questions and comments on this thread. Actually, I don't hit the Panel & Suburban forum, as often as the others, so I spaced it off a bit. Sorry for my punctuality in replying/responding.

The tank is the aftermarket kit sold by LMC. We didn't purchase or put it in originally...we removed it and installed it (a bit more workmanlike) after the frame was powder-coated. We slightly modified a few things, but, all-in-all, it was a nice fit-up and worth the time and investment. The aftermarket tanks do not have the scallop in them, to allow for the factory-correct underbed spare tire mount, so keep this in mind, if going this route.
The original body shell was not redeemable, due to the severe rust above the windshield, A-pillars, lower inner skin, etc., so we opted for a donor body shell. The customer hasn't decided on the color scheme, so I am not sure if it will be single-tone or two-tone.
The original frame-to-body perches were rusted out pretty bad, so we cut out the old and welded in new sections & redrilled the openings for the frame-to-body bolts. After media-blasting with Alox (aluminum oxide), we had the entire frame and suspension components powder-coated Matte Black. We went with Grade 8 hardware through-out on the reassembly.
