I owned a 1951 half ton Chevy pickup in highschool...many years ago. So this year when my sister told me about an old Chevy pickup on the the sheepfarm where she works, I had to go check it out. Its a 52 half ton..kinda...with a 1960 bed, one ton rear axle and 1950 235 and transmission. I got in touch with the owner and what I lovingly refer to as the Idaho sheep shot is mine...Now what? Well I trailered it home and am now going through a frame up resto. But I decided the cab and fenders have so much character, I want to keep them just as they are. So, this will be a ratresto '52.
