There's a socket listed in the Comp Cams catalog that's designed for turning the crank while degreeing the cam. If you don't want to invest in that one, jus thread a 7/16" fine thread bolt into every other hole in the crankshaft flange, and use a pry bar or a big screwdriver between them as a crank turning lever.
