My 61 suburban's rear floor is covered top and bottom with a black hardened tar like substance. Pretty sure this is not how they came from the factory. I assume it is wood, but is it like a pickup bed or is it more like some sort of plywood? Any thoughts on what is the best approach to replacing it?
