Any year should do, the S10 really didn't change much under the skin from '82-'04. The model you want to look for is the standard cab long bed, as that frame has the proper wheelbase. You may want to do a little salvage yard hunting, as there are many good upgrades to the S chassis using factory parts, particularly brake and axle upgrades. "98 and up Blazers and some 2wd pickups have 4 wheel disk brakes that are a direct bolt in. Also, trucks with RPO ZQ8 have a larger anti-roll bar, stiffer springs w/2" drop, and a faster ratio steering box. I'll have to look the part number up, but GM also offered the ZQ8 parts as a service kit. I don't know if it is still available.
