My original sending unit was very rusty (but still worked) and cork floats were in bad shape. I have removed the rust by soaking in vinegar. After cleaning unit up, I have an ohm reading of 6 at bottom of float bar travel and 36 at top of travel. Reading will climb as bar is raised. Does this sound right?
