Hy Iron Clad, I don't think the NV4500 ever had a driveshaft parking brake, so that could be a problem to fabricate.
They are around. Mostly on one-ton 2WD trucks. I recently saw a '93 Chevy trans for sale with a parking drum on the back. You still have to make the linkage work.
