I have a 57 Chevy 1/2 ton stepside with 235. I'm getting ready to buy a pre-bent gas line from the carb to the pump. In some of the catalogs they show an inline glass bowl gas filter. Were these orginal equiptment or after market? Also, if they were orginal where would they go in the system? One other question. How does the spring on the thermosat go in, up or down? :hammering:
