tclederman Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,270 Jarvisburg, NC, USA	It has been many years since I rebuilt a 1954 235, but I recall that there would be shims for the crankshaft main bearings and for the rod bearings (the Shop manual confirms this). Can you post link(s) to photo(s) of the different shims? Tim 1954Advance-Design.com 1954 3106 Carryall Suburban 1954 3104 5-window pickup w/Hydra-Matic The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
