| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 202 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 202 | On my 54 3100 I had to disassemble my master cylinder by removing the fitting on the end where the brake lines go and with a long skinny bolt drive the piston out with a hammer. It was really mucked up. In the process the spring was destroyed. I thought - no biggy the master cylinder kit will have a new one. NOT!! The master cylinder kit I bought from Napa Auto Parts (#146) did not have a new spring in it.
Does anyone know where I can find or have a spring that will fit my 1-1/8" bore master cylinder?
I would greatly appreciate and assistance.
