Hello from Black Creek Wisconsin. Thanks for all the information this site has helped me with already.
Finaly found a 5 window 53 1/2 ton this summer and recently purchased one for parts. As many of these trucks in Wisconsin body is in very rough shape but I am loving it. I would like to do a an original restoration to the truck other than the engine it has a 54 235 in it and that just might have to stay babbit bearings just don't apeal to me yet, but we will see.
