I have a 1955 1st series chevy 1/2 ton. While trying to resolve a stalling issue, I am ready to replace the gas tank. When looking at the assembly manual for my truck, it looks like the fuel outlet is through the sending unit and out the top of the tank. My tank has the fuel line exiting through the bottom of the tank. From underneath the truck there is a rubber elbow coming from the cab which I think should have been the fuel line that is not used. There is a valve at the bottom of the tank with the line coming off that. How should I pipe the new tank?
