The only engines that have the front side mount provisions needed for your 59 would be 1955-59 235 or 261.
I was told the other day that '55-'57 engines did not mount the same way '58-'59 engines did. I'm certainly NOT doubting you, but now I'm REALLY confused. I went to look at a 235 that's in a '57 truck, and to me it looks like the same engine mounting system that's in my '59. Please help
