| | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 7 | I have acquired a saginaw 3 spd overdrive transmission...I don't know what it came from. ( A chevy I would imagine) I don't think it really matters.I intend to dissasemble it to see if it is alright internally. My question???/ Has anyone done this swap or should I not even consider it? I realize these aren't the strongest transmissions but I don't intend to do any real heavy hauling with my 3/4 ton anyhow. Just looking for a little better milage.
