Well, here’s that comparison between the faux Waldorf White and the original Thistle Gray from the ‘54 hub caps. Notice that the paint that was preserved under the blue bow tie paint is a different shade now than that which was exposed to the elements. I would go with the shade that was in the middle. Now, is that ’54 thistle gray the same as the thistle gray from ’52 & ’53?
