When we had it brought to our shop it was a total mess. Engine about to fall out, no wood left in bed, what was left of the seat well i'll just say you could see the frame work. I'm sorry but don't have any early pics as of yet(daughter has them) anyway to say the least it looked like something that would never be on the road again. We started by dismantling it completely down to the bare frame. We started with repairs on it and replacing sections of it. Then it was on to the suspension we narrowed a 80 chevy crossmember and bolted it to the original frame. Then we removed the old rearend and replaced it with the one from the 80. No need to narrow it (thank god). Now it was time to start the body work, everything was goin to have to have new panels. I rebuilt the lower portions of the doors and rear fenders. Replaced all four cab corners and right side a post. A trip to Virginia got us a better hood. We are clost to sending it to the paint shop.
