That method sounds great if i had a heavy dually, but my truck is a fairly light duty single rear wheel ruck. I'm going to start junk yard shopping for a disc brake rotor that I can bolt in place and then maybe make s steel plate to hold the caliper. I would have to find a way to change the bearings out in the hubs to modern type, but I think that would work. Also, those parts from the P30 and HD3500 are a lot of weight to ad to the front of a light duty truck. I know that I had a 1941 Chevy 2 ton truck that I was able to un-rivet the original brake drums from the hub and simply bolted modern Chevy 4 wheel drive 6 bolt discs in place and made a simple bracket to hold the caliper. It worked great.
