I was looking through E-Bay the other day, considering my next acquisition, and saw an ad for a 1966 Chevy pickup with a 352 in it. The price was OK, but the truck was really a Ford, so the 352 makes sense. I think it was also from Springfield, Missouri, an hour from here.
Now I have some doubts about some of the locals, but Ford doesn't even have the right number of letters to be a Chevrolet, and the 'FORD' was prominently displayed on the hood of that truck.
