I finally got a chance to pop my head under the hood to investigate. The points look like new, but the vacumm advance is barely moving (sometimes).
I went to the hardware store, and bought a little lighter tensioned spring to replace the non budging spring in the vacumm advance. After installing the new spring, I then backed out her into the street, and took off. All you could hear was EEERRRRRRRRR.
But I didn't mean to do it either.
I then took her down a mini hwy a 1/2 mile south from the house, and ran her for about a mile or 2 doing 45mph. She would really move, and was very responsive.
Tomorrow i'm gonna be doing a tune-up.
