The 1949 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton front springs are not exactly the same, but they can be physically interchanged (same mounting dimensions). Rear springs are different. Maybe someone (like Denny) will comment on the danger, if any, of using a 1/2 ton front spring on a 3/4 ton truck? If I was not going to heavily load the 3/4 ton truck, I'd go with the 1/2 ton spring. | | |
