Im having the same problem... I just got a 1962 C-10 with a late year 350. I have been trying to decode it via only and I have only got so far. Casting # 3970010 and Block Stamp ID V0131TKK.I think I figured out the stamp as being
V=Flint 01=Jan 31=31st and TKK=car,truck,vette.
The main info I need is year and what it came out of for parts ;/The other two numbers I found on the block are C8S155281 and one that looks like 010 020 114 but Im not sure what kind of codes they are. Any help will do =)
