| | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | the trans will fit but you'd have to modify the linkage between the shift box on the lower column and the trans [from the box up you need your 53 original stuff] - and you likely have to adapt driveshaft length .... if you can find a 68 or later 3 speed, they have syncro 1st
