I'm using a 69/70 GM column, so I don't know if this should go here or the Hi Po section. Anyway, like I said I've got a 69/70 GM column with an aftermarket custom type steering wheel. It's kind of small and very 80's looking, so I'd like to replace it with something with a little more class. It's got 6 mounting bolts in a circle, surrounding the horn button. It does have a working horn.

So is this the stock column/wheel mounting configuration for this type of column? Most custom wheels I see advertised have either three or five holes, but I never see six.

So do I need some sort of adapter, or do I need to just look for a steering wheel that has six mounting holes? I guess I need to know what I have before I can start looking for something to replace it with. Thanks!
