Hello I'm still new to chevys and gmc. I just got a 61 gmc 1/2 ton with the torsion bar front end. I want to put disc breaks on it and I've heard that 75-87 cross member will bolt right up. Is this true? Any advice would be helpful.
The crossmember from up to a 91 suburban will also work, that is what I used on my 66. Folks only mention the pickups but forget that the suburbans did not change until 1992. kieth
