I have some 16's off a Ford van on my 54. There is only about 1/4" of clearnce at the most. I know the Dodge rims have more offset, so they are definately out of the question. I'm not for sure about later model Chevy though. Some guys have had good luck with 16" trailer rims, but I wouldn't invest any money until I knew for sure.
