I have been plugging along pretty well so far but then I ran into an issue. I went to install the door controls and they dont seem to be the right ones . . everything I have seen says 48-54 are the same BUT the channel the connecting rod is supposed to fit in behind the door panel . . is in the wrong place and when I looked at other doors at a friends place . . they arent the same. Was there some doors toward the end of 54 or early 55 that used the 55-59 control?? Looking at pictures I have seen of the controls, they seem like they would work.
Blah, blah, blah, blah . . . and I really mean that.
