One size does NOT fit all!
Somewhere in archives, there is a listing I posted as to which YF to use with each Chevrolet year/engine combination.
Use the proper YF for your year, and use the correct CARTER gasket for that specific YF.
Since the aforementioned YF's were designed specifically for replacement, you should have no problems if you stay within the guidelines.
