if you can't lift the body, how will you replace the floor? the 2nd series floor is a single piece of plywood [oversize] that bolts up into flanges on the bottom of the sides, the body must be removed to replace the floor .... if the 'tar' is on the underside, just clean it as well as you can and leave it, noting will preserve the wood better, and who's going to know it's not just undercoating?
