It,s the standard 3 speed made by Chevy. These were naturally noisey in thr lower gears but if it,s excessive they are easy to o-haul. If the syncro,s work O.K. & it doesn,t jump out of gear it probably needs bearings. They are readily available along with gaskets & seals at an auto parts store. If it needs some hard parts you will need to contact one of the trans. specialty shops like Fatsco trans. parts.
