You could also put a multiple 216
2x1 or 3x1 intake exhaust on a second series 235.
Many have done that, too.
There are those who do not use alignment rings at all.
Some consider the rings as temporary, and serve no purpose,
after the intake is properly installed.
Now if you have bad motor mounts or maybe the exhaust system
took a jolt from running over that tree,
then the rings would help keep the correct alignment.
Which gasket are you gonna use, 216 or 235.
