Hy doctorK, when I was looking up your serial number I made an assumption, my parts book shows the serial nubers with the "C" in them begin with 1775 and are listed for the 1952 model year. The 1951 model year serial numbers do not have a "C" in them, and run from 1001 through 7363. If your truck is equipped with turn down door handles and vent windows in the doors, then I would say it's a 1951 model. If it has push button door handles then I would say it is a 1952 model, hope that clarifies.
