You are going to need to find a dual bracket for the cables like the one in post # 3 of the thread from another site mentioned in my last response. The throttle cable will go down through the vertical part of the bracket and the wire will go through the throttle linkage where the cotter pin/cotter key is currently on yours, then a cable stop/wire goes below the linkage. When you push the throttle pedal down, this linkage goes up, and slides up the wire. With the wire stop below the linkage, you can pull out on the throttle knob on the dash, and the linkage will lift without pressing the pedal. It is useful when operating a PTO unit, warming the engine without needing to hold the pedal down, and in instances when you are stopped on a hill with one foot on the clutch pedal and the other on the brake. Some people use it as a makeshift cruise control, but this is not recommended.
