I have a Corvair Rampside pickup in Ash Fork Arizona, and was going to drive my 93 Silverado 4x4 diesel pickup there to pick it up, show it off at the Corvair convention/show in DenVair Colorado, and tow it to a friends in Indiana for a powertrain rebuild.
But the Silverado died 50 miles from home, (junk tranny rebuild a few miles earlier), so I flew to DenVair, and a freind took me to this junkyard 100 miles away near Colorado Springs. That's where I saw the Smash Hit, and I will go back to get it this fall, hopefully driving!

I'm leaning up against the '59 Cheby batwing sedan. I have alot more pix, and many videos from that junkyard...
