I am looking at repowering my '47 1.5 ton truck.
Is there a "better" hi pressure 235? Or were they all the same 55-62?
Was there any head that was better? Were some hydraulic and some solid lifter?
One local option is the Holden 202, although it wont bolt straight in. These were developed in Australia by Holden, from the original 250 Chev L6 in 1963. By 1980 they were well refined, that year they got a 12 port head, in '82, fuel injection. The "black" motor.
