Someone told me to use black bar-b-cue paint for the drums. It's cheap and works well. I don't think it makes much difference on the rest of the parts, but if you wanted to be sure, maybe some rattle can engine paint. I used a zinc weld through product. It is like having it plated the paint sprays so thick.
