I was rooting around in the cab of the '37 this afternoon, and saw
something ingenious. Yes, it is a gate/door hinge which is attached to the accelerator with a bolt.
Old trucks, especially work trucks, have some interesting modifications made to them to keep them on the road. I'd be interested in seeing pics or hearing stories of what others have found in the restoration process.
