Hy jss1956, it sounds like you have done everything correctly, did you plumb the discs to the primary side of the master cylinder [the side closest to the pushrod]? Try completely removing the bleed screw from the left caliper and see if you can get anything out of it, your caliper may be faulty, or possibly a plugged flex line to the left caliper. Let us know what you find.
